Lessons on success, by an outstanding Arab businesswoman

As a young Arab woman, women empowerment is an crucial issue for me, especially during these tough times. Today, I found out this TED talk (at TED@BCG in Paris) by Leila Hoteit, director at the BCG and expert in education and women economic empowerment, and immediately thought of sharing it. Inspirational, courageous and persuasive, this talk is truly worth watching. Link here.

As usual, I had to draw something. Her prestance and assurance truly inspired me sketch a quick portrait of her :)

Here's the headline: "Professional Arab women juggle more responsibilities than their male counterparts, and they face more cultural rigidity than Western women. What can their success teach us about tenacity, competition, priorities and progress? Tracing her career as an engineer, advocate and mother in Abu Dhabi, Leila Hoteit shares three lessons for thriving in the modern world.
